Tellez and En medio Mills

Location:
These are two watermills located in the centre of the Guadalquivir´s channel, to the west of the Roman Bridge, with the Téllez mill to the north and the Enmedio mill to the south.

Origin:
Built in the 12th century, it is possible to recognise alterations from several centuries (14th, 16th and 19th).

Use:
They used to be flour mills; however, today they are practically hidden by the vegetation of the “Sotos de la Albolafia”, which makes them an important nesting site for different bird species
