Location: 
The Faculty of Arts (literally Philosophy and Literature) is located in the heart of the historic centre of the city of Cordoba, in the Plaza de Cardenal Salazar. This faculty is found in the emblematic building attributed to the Hospital del Cardenal Salazar and shares space with the Chapel of San Bartolomé. 

Origin: 
During the 14th century, after the assault on the Jewish quarter and with the intention of evangelising in this area, the San Bartolomé parish was created with its corresponding church and chapel, an authentic pioneering example of Mudejar art in Cordoba. Subsequently, this space was chosen for the Cardinal Salazar Hospital, which became a majestic Baroque-style building, displaying the architectural qualities of the 18th century.
