Location: 
The San Juan de los Caballeros Minaret is located in its own square in the heart of the historic centre of Cordoba. Nowadays, this minaret from the Caliphate period is the bell tower on the church that is Order of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Origin: 
The San Juan de los Caballeros minaret may be dated to the late 9th and early 10th centuries, having acted as a call-to-prayer tower for a smaller or neighbourhood mosque.
