Mill of Alegria

Location:
It is located on the right bank of the Guadalquivir River, just past the San Rafael Bridge.

Origin:
It was built in the 15th century.

Use:
It was used for cereal grinding until the 19th century, and for weaving fabrics, thanks to a fulling mill located in an adjoining building. In 2002 it was annexed to the Royal Botanical Garden of Cordoba complex, which converted it into the current Museum of Palaeobotany.
